Picture a day – Week of Dec 18, 2011

December 24, 2011 by Alan R 4 Comments

Several years ago, I heard photographers were taking a picture a day, every day, for a year.  They would post these pictures on a blog or picture sharing site in an effort to get feedback, share their craft with the world, and take better pictures.  I have decided to do such a thing and will be posting my pictures for the week on Saturdays.  The pictures will also be on Flikr.  Please take the time to help me improve by giving me your feedback and comments.

So, without further ado, here they are:

These are both beautiful. I think you did an excellent job. Cheryl Kirkland was doing the same thing last year with posting a picture a day on Facebook.

Thanks Ms Paula. I had wanted to do this since I had first found out about it but never felt that I had the right equipment to do interesting pictures. Now, hopefully I have what I need. I highly recommend going ahead and doing it yourself. My main hope is that I will become a much better photographer. With taking at least one picture and post it everyday, I think I will get closer to my goal. Thanks again

Really good photos. I especially like the White Trumpet plant. Great detail and perfect focus. I’m looking forward to seeing your future photos.

Thanks Sharon. Those are some of my favorite plants and I look forward to getting some more pictures in the spring.
